Honorably China

On Monday, February 25, Provost Carol Linder joined Dr. Benton and 23 Honors students for a traditional 8-course meal at the Grand House Asian Bistro in the Asian District of OKC and an evening of "Shen Yun" at the Civic Center. We ate a lot of delicious food, took more fortune cookies than we should have (some of us), saw a lot of impressive traditional Chinese dance and a colossal battle between a monkey and a giant scorpion, and watched a tsunami of Marx shattered by Falun Dafa.  It was a memorable evening.  And an Honorable one.

Honorably above:  Lydia Bomboy, Alex Humbles, Kaitlyn Francois, Ruth Herman, Taylor Martin, Karmen Nalley, Dr. Carol Linder and Abigail Fowler.
Kassie Batt, Connie Green, Payton Hodges, Kenneth Duesman, Kenneth's 14th serving of potstickers and orange peel chicken, Kaylee Thoma, Taylor Porter (aka "The Governor General), Alisha Smith, and Katie "I dream of Mapo Tofu" Cowger.

Above: Gabe Wilmot, Jacob Talkington, Brandi Schur, Addison Gallaway, Ashley Vanschuyver, Sabrina Arredondo, Darren Pennington, and Dan the man Howard.

 That's double happiness, honorably.

Shen Yun scofflaws!
