Road Trip, Destination: Samurai

On Wednesday, February 26th, thirty-one Honors students joined Drs. Benton, Hada, Nicholson-Weir, and Peters on a border-crossing quest to Fort Worth to explore "Samurai: Armor From The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection" in the new Renzo Piano Pavilion at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth (we also checked out the permanent exhibition). Along the way, we lunched at the Genghis Grill.

  1. The Road Trip was very fun. I love art museums and the samurai museum was very interesting. I never knew that their outfits were mostly just for decoration. -Kyle Hetzel
