The Honors sorting was a blast of nerdy awesomeness that I didn't know was possible before. I wore my Harry Potter atire all day in anticipation of the event and was not disappointed! My favorite memory of the event is Dr. Benton walking the fedora, I say walking I should probably use the verbs: dancing, galavanting, swaying, and honoring down the walkway. When everyone starting humming the imperial march from Star Wars I about lost my mind. In all a great experience that I will definitely attend next year. #Eureka5eva
I do not ever remember having turned down a good picnic. In addition to being able to enjoy the company of soon-to-be Honors house members, I was also given the chance to play the vuvuzela. Having a somewhat extensive background as a musician, in addition to having a lack of experience with the vuvuzela, I was happy to take up the instrument. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and found that the skills required to play brass instruments could easily transfer over to those needed for the vuvuzela.
