We need masks to keep us safe during this pandemic. They cover smiles, and I don't like that.
But they also call attention to our eyes, and for that I am grateful.
Today I took photos of the eyes of some of the Honorables who attended our first Honors Kickoff Week Meet Ups. I've included some below.
Not every photo I took turned out like I wanted because of my lack of expertise in the photographic arts, so I'm hoping to get a second chance tomorrow.
But I'm grateful to be looking toward the future with these eyes.
